Technical FAQ's
I've signed up for your hosting, what should I do now?
Email support@ewebhosters with your setup requirements. This includes domains, email addresses you would like (Specify if you want a unique pop box for each one or if you want them all in the same one, or any other means you would prefer), databases required, any perl or php modules (Generic ones like DBI, DBD, Time::HiRes and GD are installed 99% of the time for Perl, GD, and MySQL are always installed with PHP)

What nameservers do I use?
Use NS1.EWEBHOSTERS.COM and NS2.EWEBHOSTERS.COM.

What's the path to sendmail?
/usr/sbin/sendmail

What's the path to perl?
/usr/bin/perl

What's the path to ImageMagick?
/usr/local/bin is where the ImageMagick tools are located.

How do I shell into my server?
SSH access is disabled by default for all users. Should you require it, simply email support@ewebhosters.com and we will assist you. You must use SSH to connect using a client such as PuTTY or SecureCRT (For Windows). PuTTY can be found at http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/

Do you offer any type of SPAM or virus filtering?
Upon request we can install server side mail filtering that will remove most spam mails and viruses, as well as potential viruses. If such filtering is installed on your server make sure all attachments you wish to recieve that may be auto-executed are ZIPed. This doesn't include image files such as .jpg, .gif, .png, etc. Email support@ewebhosters.com for additional information.

How can I protect my images from being hotlinked?
Use the generator here http://htmlbasix.com/disablehotlinking.shtml to protect your images. It works very well. Make sure to customize it to suit your site (Types of images, sites you want to link, etc).

Are there any help documents to learn DirectAdmin?
Yes, we have a comprehensive knowledge base site which is available online at http://www.site-helper.com. If you have a question about a particular function while in the DA control panel simply click on the question mark icon that is on that page and it will take you to the correct page in the knowledgebase.

I need to send you some hardware/software/content, where do I send it to?

Billing FAQ's
What forms of payment to you accept?
We currently accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover Credit cards as well as PayPal.

Do you accept checks or eChecks/ACH payments?
Generally, no we don't due to many factors, including high fraud risk for standard checks and high processing fees for eChecks/ACH. For larger accounts we will evaluate this on a case by case basis.

Can I pay by wire?
We can accept wire payments for dedicated accounts only for a fee of $10 per wire payment to offset bank fees. If you require this method please email us for wire info: billing@ewebhosters.com.
